More Business in a Day Than in Three Weeks

If you’re a small business owner and are fighting tooth-and-nail to get your products into retailers’ hands, the trade show is a perfect way to hasten your outreach and solidify sales faster than you could do on your own. 

The trade show concentrates purchasers, not just individuals, but retailers who are looking to stock up. Imagine the time and energy it would take to get your product into the hands of 20 retailers if you had to schedule an appointment, pack up your gear, and travel to meet them. At the trade show, they come to you.

Sometimes bigger isn’t better, either. At a smaller scale trade show, you’re not competing with the Big Guys. You’re in a smaller space, you’re more easily visible, and you have the opportunity to get in front of buyers who are interested in your particular product or service that a smaller trade show could focus on. Think there are a lot of trade shows for stationary and hand made greeting cards? You might be right, but if you find a small exhibition that focuses fairly narrowly and includes a niche for your business, you know for sure that the people attending are interested in that focus and will be more likely to pay attention to what you have to offer.

Local trade shows that simply offer booths for any and all local businesses have their place, but if you can find a show that has a more defined focus, you’re almost guaranteed a better return on your investment of time and materials than a larger show with a broader focus. It might be difficult to find these smaller shows, but they will be worth it.
